As a Friend of Gideons you’ll hear testimonies on a regular basis, pray for the work of the ministry, occasionally meet with local Gideons for special events, give to provide Scriptures, and purchase New Testaments with Psalms & Proverbs for your own personal witnessing.

Pray
You’ll receive the following to assist you in praying for this ministry and enable you to see where God is changing lives:
Periodic Friends newsletters that feature the latest testimonies and stories from recent Scripture distributions, as well as prayer and praise points.
Monthly encouragement and prayer emails that provide you with information and prayer points regarding the area of distribution (i.e. schools, hospitals, etc.) Gideons will be focusing on for the month.
Invitations to local special events where you will have the opportunity to meet our members and Friends in your community.

You can purchase New Testaments with Psalms and Proverbs for $2.60 per New Testament with free shipping on orders of boxes of 50 and above ($8 postage for smaller orders).
With your first order, you will receive “Share Jesus Without Fear”, a book by Bill Fay that provides valuable advice on witnessing.
You can buy up to 100 Testaments (2 boxes of 50) per year. Churches or Christian groups who become Friends can purchase up to 1000 Testaments per year.
After you’ve signed up as a Friend below, email orders@gideons.org.au or call 02 6286 1566 (our national office) to order your New Testaments.

You can support the work of the Gideons in Australia and around the world:
- $100/month will fund 750 New Testaments for the ministry per year
- $50/month will fund 375 New Testaments for the ministry per year
- $12.50/month will fund 75 New Testaments for the ministry per year
- Or any amount you feel led to give on a recurring or one-off basis.
