You can continue to share God's love with the world, even after He calls you home.
The impact you can have on the world doesn't end when God calls you home. The people you've touched, the example you've set, the witness you've been all continue to change the world. There is another way, however, that you can continue to share God's love with the world, and that's to provide for The Gideons International in your estate planning.
Legacy giving is a way to donate larger sums to organisations you wish to support, using your accumulated life assets. Examples include:
Including The Gideons International in your financial plans not only benefits those whose lives will be touched by the Word of God, it has practical benefits for you, your descendants and any others you wish to remember.
A codicil is a document in which you can change some of the terms of your original will without having to change the entire will.
You might choose to allocate a fixed amount, a fixed percentage amount of your total estate, or part or all of the residue of your estate. You may also designate specific goods or property.
The codicil should be signed and dated by the will-maker and two witnesses at the same time. The witnesses should not be persons who are listed in the will, or spouses of persons listed in the will.
If you are interested in additional information regarding this type of investment in the Word of God through The Gideons International, you can contact the National Office.
